Gråtinden on Ringvassøya

Easy hike on to the mountain top of Gråtinden. You will have an amazing view into Kvaløya, Rebbenesøya and the scenic bird rock Sørfugløya. You park the camper beside the unpaved road and the hiking trail starts on the right hand side. The first 100 meters of the hike will be the steepest part of this trip. It takes you about 1,5 hours to reach the 587 meter high peak of Gråtinden. The hiking trail is marked with small stone pyramids or red colored stones. On the upper part of this track it is sometimes hard to find the next path indicator. Make sure you do not encounter fog or low clouds so you find the way back to your camper.
